Blog post 1: Introduction
Hi, I'm Josiah Daniels. I'm a 17-year-old PSEO student from Princeton High School, and I'm a senior this year. I go to ARCC full-time. I live with my parents, younger brother, and younger sister. My career goals are to get an undergraduate degree in either philosophy or history and then go to law school after that. I’m also considering doing ROTC next year. My counselor told me that in order to prepare for law school, I should take as many intensive writing courses as I can. I figured this class would help me to become a better writer, so I decided to take it.

I wish more lawyers would take journalism classes, Josiah! (And police officers and doctors and...) It benefits everyone when folks from other disciplines learn how to write well, and I am especially partial to journalism :) But with its emphasis on writing concisely and to the point, this type of writing particularly benefits everyone.
ReplyDeleteJosiah, what an honor to participate in a class with such a brilliant man. You will make an extraordinary lawyer and I look forward to following your career. See you in SG next week.
